Katherine Van Dyck

Anti-Monopoly & Consumer Advocate

Katie has transformed her experience litigating in courtrooms across the United States into advocacy for policies that dismantle outsized corporate power and improve victims’ access to justice. She writes and speaks about the importance of competition and how concentrated economic power leads to increased prices for consumers, depressed wages for the workforce, and the shuttering of small businesses. Her work across public, private, and non-profit sectors has led to significant recoveries for victims and positive changes to our legal systems.

Katie is a senior fellow at UC Berkeley Law’s Civil Justice Research Initiative and a senior research fellow with American Economic Liberties Project. She also serves on the Steering Committee for the American Antitrust Institute’s Appellate Project. Katie is available to consult on policy initiatives and assist with amicus briefs and other litigation-focused projects.
